Food business development requires innovation to solve production challenges and boost efficiency, paired with prudent financial management and clear, continuous communication so investors understand performance, strategy, and decision factors. Charoen Pokphand Foods (CPF) applies this approach across its operations — developing technology for real-world production needs and linking business management, finance, and investor relations from strategy-setting through capital allocation to analyst and investor disclosure.

This commitment to innovation alongside strong governance and capital-market communication is reflected in awards from two national platforms: the IAA Awards for Listed Companies 2026 and the SET Awards 2026.

In management and capital-market communication, CPF earned three Outstanding awards in the Food & Beverage group at the IAA Awards for Listed Companies 2026, organized by the Investment Analysts Association and voted on by analysts and fund managers: CPF CEO Prasit Boonduangprasert received Outstanding CEO; CFO Paisan Jirakijja received Outstanding CFO; and Senior Executive Vice President for Corporate Affairs and Investor Relations Kobboon Sri-chai received Outstanding IR.

The IAA Awards emphasize management capability, business understanding, ethics and corporate governance, accurate and regular disclosure, and reasonable explanation of business trends and risks — all aligned with CPF's governance and communication practices.

On innovation, CPF won the Outstanding Innovative Company Award at the SET Awards 2026, organized by the Stock Exchange of Thailand, for its "AI Smart Aquaculture System" that uses AI to monitor shrimp farming, enabling farmers to manage farms more precisely and efficiently — a prime example of applying technology to solve operational challenges and elevate Thai shrimp farming.

Democrat MP Jurin Nuankeaw challenged the government's household solar rooftop scheme in parliament, questioning its 140,000 baht pricing when market rates are 80,000-90,000 baht, and raising concerns about transparency, a 100,000 baht security deposit that excludes small contractors, and the Electricity Authority competing with private installers. Energy Minister Ekkanat Promphan defended the project as a clean energy transition funded by government loans to help households, arguing price competition benefits consumers.
