On November 3, 2026, the Thai Meteorological Department issued a 24-hour forecast stating that the North, Northeast, Central region including Bangkok and vicinity, and the East will continue to experience thunderstorms and strong gusty winds in some areas. The South will see increased rainfall with heavy downpours in places. The public in these areas is urged to beware of hazards from thunderstorms and strong gusts by avoiding open fields, big trees, and unsecured billboards. This is due to a high-pressure system or another cold air mass from China extending over upper Northeast Thailand and the South China Sea, while easterly winds prevail over the Gulf of Thailand, Thailand, and the Andaman Sea. In the Andaman Sea and Gulf of Thailand, areas with thunderstorms will see waves higher than two meters. Mariners should navigate with caution and avoid sailing in stormy areas.
