Tour Bus Assault on Motorway Investigated; Company Denies Attacker Was Employee
A porter hired by a tour bus company attacked the driver on a motorway after another bus cut in front of their convoy, nearly causing a multi-vehicle collision. Police are investigating the July 24 incident captured on video.
A tour bus company has clarified details of a violent motorway incident captured on video, in which a man in dark clothing was seen punching a bus driver. The company says the attacker was not an employee but a porter hired to help load luggage. The incident occurred when a tour bus not part of an organized convoy of 10 buses suddenly cut in front of the group, which was traveling with a lead vehicle. The apparently angry attacker blamed the driver for the dangerous maneuver, which nearly caused the convoy bus to swerve and could have triggered a chain-reaction collision of all 10 vehicles. Police are investigating the identity of the man in the video and will question all parties on Friday, July 24, 2569. Authorities are also checking who arranged the convoy's lead vehicle.
