TRUE and Bangkok University Launch AI Leaders Program
TRUE Corporation and Bangkok University launch an AI leadership program combining academic learning with real-world industry challenges to develop creative, responsible technologists for Thailand's future workforce.
TRUE Corporation has partnered with Bangkok University's Faculty of Communication Arts to launch "BU be TRUE: The Future Takes Off Together," a groundbreaking collaboration designed to create a next-generation learning model connecting higher education with the private sector. The program aims to cultivate future leaders capable of driving change, equipped with upskilled creative-AI competencies who understand people, business, and can deploy technology responsibly and creatively to create sustainable value in the AI-era workplace.
The BU be TRUE initiative follows a Learn–Work–Create–Innovate framework with five core processes: Human Decode, which extracts human-centered insights; Skill Fusion, combining storytelling, AI literacy, digital tools, business thinking, and communication ethics; Real Challenge Lab, tackling actual industry problems; Test, Mentor & Improve, offering experimentation and guidance; and Launch to Career, opening pathways to employment. The program engages the business sector in developing a future workforce with skills aligned to tomorrow's job market while promoting responsible AI and creative thinking to nurture graduates who understand people, technology, and business while generating real social and economic value.
Prof. Sorsern Milindasoot, Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs at Bangkok University, stated that while university education alone may be insufficient for real-world industry changes, the BU be TRUE collaboration represents a critical bridge between academia and business, enabling students to tackle genuine projects, learn from real challenges, and develop their potential while creating economic and social value for the nation.
Oliver Kittipong Veeratecha, Head of Brand and Communications of TRUE Corporation, expressed confidence in Gen Z's potential to become change-making leaders. As Thailand's telecom and technology leader, TRUE aims to evolve from a Connectivity Provider to an Enabler of Possibilities, providing young people with genuine opportunities where technology creates real value for people and society.
