Two Former Aviation Officials Stripped of Royal Honours
Two former Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand employees have had their royal honours stripped following dismissal for serious misconduct and breach of duty that damaged the organization.
The government has revoked all ranks of royal honours from two former Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand employees for serious disciplinary violations and dismissal. The Royal Gazette published a proclamation on 3 September 2024 authorized by Prime Minister Anuthine Charnweerakul revoking the decorations effective from 1 October 2023. The first former employee, Ms. Katchakorn, a senior general administration officer in the Aviation Medicine Standards Division, was dismissed for misconduct and breach of duty causing serious damage to the office. Her royal decoration at the Benja Makpahorn Mongkut rank is revoked. The second former employee, Ms. Nilwan, a senior finance planning and administration officer in the Accounting and Finance Division, was dismissed for the same grounds of misconduct and breach of duty causing serious damage. Her royal decoration at the Benja Makpahorn Mongkut rank is also revoked. The proclamation was issued on 14 August 2024.
