Two Massage Therapist Friends Fight Over Relationship Suspicions, One Punched in the Face with Bloody Nose
Two massage therapists clashed in a violent dispute in Chon Buri early Saturday after one refused to address relationship suspicions, leaving her friend with a broken nose and facial laceration.
Two massage therapist friends arranged to settle a dispute but ended up in a violent altercation when one punched the other in the face, leaving her with a broken nose and severe facial injuries.
At 1:30 a.m. on April 26, 2025, Pattaya City Police received a report of a quarrel behind an entertainment venue in Nong Prue Subdistrict, Bang Lamung District, Chon Buri Province. Officers and rescue volunteers from the Swang Buraprom Foundation quickly responded to the parking area behind the venue, where they found friends from both sides trying to break up the fight.
The victim, Ms. Sorindawan (surname withheld), 26, a traditional massage therapist, was in distress with a severe laceration on her nose bridge and blood streaming down her face. Medical staff provided first aid before rushing her to the hospital.
The suspect, Ms. Mintra (surname withheld), 28, also a massage therapist working at the same establishment, remained calm as she gave her statement to police.
During questioning, Ms. Mintra admitted to assaulting her friend. She explained that the two had previous personal conflicts and had arranged to meet for a heart-to-heart discussion over drinks. During their conversation, the victim refused to clarify her suspicions about Ms. Mintra's relationship with the victim's boyfriend, which angered Ms. Mintra. In a fit of rage, Ms. Mintra punched the victim in the face once, not realizing she was wearing a ring that caused the severe laceration.
Police brought Ms. Mintra in for questioning at Pattaya City Police Station, while the victim will provide her statement later to ensure fairness to all parties involved.
