Twelve-year-old Thai golfer Ugo Chen, of Chinese descent, maintains his lead in the boys division with a two-round total of 3-under-par 141, one stroke ahead of American Yung Hui-Aiden Cho at 2-under-par 142. In the girls division, Pattranidah Ponmonee, Kirana Batpannatana, and Richie Kittiwattanakul are tied for the lead at 6-under-par 138 after two rounds. The tournament is the second edition of the Thailand Junior Championship 2026, a 54-hole stroke-play event for golfers aged 18 and under, attracting 120 international competitors (72 boys and 48 girls) from Thailand and abroad. The competition serves as a pathway for young golfers to reach the AJGA in the United States and is supported by Thailand's Sports Authority, National Sports Development Fund, Ministry of Tourism and Sports, and other organizations. In Saturday's second round, 47 boys and 35 girls made the cut for Sunday's final round. In the girls division, Pattranidah Ponmonee shot 5-under-par 67 in the second round, joining the two co-leaders. Pimnaraa Kullavanij holds fourth place at 5-under-par 139.
