Bangkok, October 7, 2069 – vivo Thailand is providing flood relief by preparing 500 emergency aid packs with essential items for immediate use, to be distributed to those affected and to offer encouragement. The assistance is divided into two parts: 400 packs will be given to residents in affected areas with support from Rangsit Municipality Office for coordination, and the remaining 100 packs will be donated to the Baan Nok Kamin Foundation to reach children and others needing help.

Each pack contains over 10,000 items, including canned rice, dry food, snacks, drinking water, boxed milk, medicine, tissue paper, and mosquito repellent, selected to meet basic daily needs. In addition to delivering supplies, vivo Thailand’s team is going into communities to hand the packs directly to residents, sharing goodwill under the motto ‘Sharing Care, Caring Together’ to help everyone get through this challenging period.

Furthermore, to assist vivo smartphone users affected by the flood, vivo service centers have introduced special measures: a 20% discount on spare parts for repairs of all vivo smartphone models impacted by the flood, and an extension of the warranty period for devices whose original warranty was set to expire between September 20 and 30, 2069, extending coverage to October 31, 2069, under the same terms as the original warranty.

Researchers from Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University have revived the province’s declining egg banana industry, boosting yields and quality through improved farming practices. Farmer collectives have established guaranteed‑price purchase points, a true‑sucker seed bank and processing facilities, raising annual output from 30‑40 tonnes to 60‑80 tonnes and linking with national retailers and Bangkok hotels. The initiative also aims to upgrade the banana to GAP standards and develop value‑added products such as massaman curry ingredients and banana‑in‑syrup.
