Bank of Thailand Appoints Five Experts to Financial Policy Committee
The Bank of Thailand’s board has appointed five experts to the Financial Institutions Policy Committee, with terms starting 1 November 2026. Three newcomers – Kanith Sangsuphan, Chalermchit Bunyaninta and Suthi Loewsophonkul – will serve first‑term positions, while Nopphon Periurut and Veeravat Pantawangkoon are reappointed for a second term. The appointments replace outgoing members whose terms expire on 31 October 2026.
The Bank of Thailand board announced the appointment of five new members to the Financial Institutions Policy Committee, effective 1 November 2026. Bank of Thailand Secretary Jiranutthawat Thannyachareon said the decision was made at the 30 September 2026 meeting to replace members whose terms end on 31 October 2026. The new members will serve three‑year terms from 1 November 2026. First‑term appointees are Kanith Sangsuphan, Chalermchit Bunyaninta, and Suthi Loewsophonkul, replacing Suppak Siwarak, Aayosum Krisanamra, and Chanun Chanchainarong. Reappointed for a second term are Nopphon Periurut and Veeravat Pantawangkoon.
