Jeab Beer Khon La Yam confessed to using ice regularly. Regarding the day she live-streamed drug use, she said a follower commented asking if she had "topped up" yet. She challenged the follower to transfer 1,000 baht and she would consume the drug on camera. The money arrived instantly, and feeling compelled to follow through, she took the drug live. She acknowledged her actions were wrong but said she was not out of her mind at the time and sometimes feels suicidal because positive actions like making good food go unnoticed while negative behavior gets massive media coverage. She added she would not blame the follower, as the fault was hers, and suggested others with sound judgment should not imitate her. Bang Lamung investigative police will continue questioning and add charges under the Computer Crime Act. The suspect, a well-known LGBTQ yam vendor from Jomtien, previously made headlines over a dispute with the mother of a young social media star before this drug live-stream led to an arrest warrant from Pattaya Provincial Court.
