Ying Thitikarn Loses Faith in Boom Panadda Over Foundation Funds

Luk thung singer Ying Thitikarn says she has lost all trust in celebrity Boom Panadda after reviewing bank records of his Tham Dee Foundation showing donations allegedly spent on personal expenses. Ying, who volunteered as a foundation representative delivering aid to flood-hit areas and donated her own money, says the evidence has shattered her faith. She vows not to support him if legal proceedings confirm wrongdoing.

Luk thung singer Ying Thitikarn revealed heavy heartbreak after serving as a representative of the Tham Dee Foundation, which aided residents in disaster zones. She declared she has lost all faith in Boom Panadda after reviewing the foundation's bank statements. On November 7, 2026, reporters visited the Baan Sai Noi Kitchen restaurant on Bang Kruai-Sai Noi Road in Nonthaburi, where Ying and her team were dining, and interviewed her about the foundation.

Ying disclosed she still feels confused about the withdrawal transactions. She said she would not have made any transactions until the account's purpose was absolutely clear. However, the account was established under the name of a foundation — meaning the money came from public donations intended to help fellow human beings. If she owned that money, she would never use it and would never be confused, because it is donation money. She personally donated amounts ranging from hundreds to tens of thousands of baht to the Tham Dee Foundation.

Ying explained that before any arrests occurred, and every time before traveling to aid areas — whether in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya or elsewhere — she had the opportunity to represent the foundation in distributing survival bags or other assistance. During the Chiang Mai mission, she covered all her own expenses and never withdrew foundation funds, believing a volunteer must be self-sufficient first.

The unfolding events have caused her immense sorrow because she always spoke up at every opportunity, having faith in what Boom was doing. She went to help without hesitation. But today, the documentary evidence and money trails that have emerged have broken her heart. Previously, before legal proceedings began, she stood by his side. But now that it has reached this stage, if wrongdoing is proven through due process and the court rules, she will absolutely not take his side, because she loves correctness and transparency. She is deeply saddened that he acted this way.

Today, nothing remains hidden. She can see how much money came in and where it went, with most of it used for personal matters. She is heartbroken that she helped this foundation with complete sincerity. She no longer believes. She once stayed up all night after work and drove to help him. Beyond distributing survival bags, wading through floodwaters, and cooking, she sometimes acted as his representative when he couldn't arrive in time. Now she wants to cry because she devoted herself wholeheartedly as an honest, sincere volunteer.

After this incident, she will likely not repeat such involvement, because she views what he did as extremely serious. Now society is punishing him, and the legal system is also punishing him. Whatever he has done — whether with good or bad intent, knowingly or unknowingly, planned or unplanned — she asks that it be handled according to legal duty and process.

Thai Police Chief Bans Foreign Book Citing National Security

Thailand's national police chief has banned the import and distribution of the academic book "Routledge Handbook of Contemporary Thailand Second Edition," citing national security concerns. The order, published in the Royal Gazette, has drawn criticism over press freedom but avoids the technical errors of a similar 1993 ban that backfired politically and led to a police chief's ouster. Analysts note the current police chief's smooth appointment and error-free order suggest lessons have been learned from past controversies.
