2h ago Khaosod

Thai police have formally elevated the case of airline hostess Mina, arrested by Australian customs and federal police with drug packages, to an international criminal organization investigation. On July 4, 2026, Police Commander General Achayan Kraitong announced the establishment of a dedicated task force to pursue the case as a transnational crime, aiming to identify all accomplices and masterminds behind the operation.

The investigation team, led by Deputy Police Commanders Sombourn Tiankao and Worrapoj Disyabut, and other senior officers, will coordinate with the Metropolitan Police Bureau, Australian Federal Police (AFP), the Office of the Narcotics Control Board, and related agencies. They will aggressively collect evidence from all angles—interviewing the suspect's associates, drivers, and vehicle owners; reviewing CCTV footage; and gathering forensic and communications data to link all involved parties into legal proceedings.

Investigations indicate the case may be connected to an international drug smuggling network. Charges being considered include participation in a transnational criminal organization for serious drug offenses occurring in both Thailand and abroad. Convictions carry sentences of four to fifteen years imprisonment, or fines of 80,000 to 300,000 baht, or both.

The Metropolitan Police Bureau will pursue the investigation vigorously to identify those who gave orders, financial backers, accomplices, and the international drug trafficking network, ensuring no one escapes legal accountability to safeguard society and the nation.

Australian Trainer Shares Struggles With Oversized Anatomy

Australian fitness trainer Kieran John reveals how his unusually large anatomy has caused relationship difficulties and objectification, calling for greater openness around men's reproductive health issues.

2h ago Khaosod

When it comes to sexual matters, many men believe bigger is always better. However, one Australian fitness trainer has struggled for years with the size of his genitals, finding that his unusually large anatomy creates relationship problems and leaves him feeling objectified as merely a sexual commodity.

According to Daily Star, Kieran John, an Australian fitness trainer, has a 10-inch penis (approximately 25 cm) with a 6-inch circumference (approximately 15 cm). While many men might envy his size, John says that being larger than average creates more stress than satisfaction.

He explains that his large anatomy causes significant discomfort when wearing shorts or underwear throughout the day. Wearing jeans feels like having a rope cutting between his legs. Beyond clothing restrictions, John also notes that his genitals expand and contract with temperature changes—shrinking to about 9.5 inches (roughly 24 cm) in winter, and potentially exceeding 10 inches in summer when blood circulation improves, causing further discomfort.

John also recounts experiences where women who were attracted to him would buy him luxury gifts, book five-star hotel rooms, or even married women would approach him—all solely to experience his anatomy. He acknowledges that many view him as merely a sexual object. On one occasion, his partner even called a roommate in to watch during intimate relations, which left him feeling deeply uncomfortable and violated.

John says his purpose in revealing his anatomy size is not to boast, but to encourage men to openly discuss their physical health. He notes that throughout his life, he has confided in only about three friends about this issue. He emphasizes that many men silently suffer from reproductive health problems, and some have even died from testicular cancer because they were too embarrassed to see a doctor. He concludes that while women are regularly encouraged to get mammograms, men deserve the same right to healthcare and should not feel ashamed discussing these matters.

Thailand Warns 55 Provinces of Flash Floods and Mudslides

Thailand's Meteorological Department warns 55 provinces to prepare for flash floods and mudslides as Tropical Storm Maiskak influences weather patterns through July 6, with four southern provinces also under alert for strong winds and dange

2h ago Khaosod

On July 4, 2025, Theeraphot Kachmathey, director-general of the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM), announced that the Central Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Operations Center has been monitoring weather conditions and assessing risk factors. The Meteorological Department's first bulletin on Tropical Storm Maiskak indicates that a depression in the upper South China Sea has intensified into a tropical storm, expected to move through Hainan Island and make landfall in southern China between July 4-6. While the storm's center will not directly enter Thailand, its influence combined with a monsoon trough affecting the north and upper northeast, along with strong southwest monsoon winds over the Andaman Sea, Thailand, and the Gulf of Thailand, will cause significant rainfall increases and heavy downpours in some areas, particularly in the northern, northeastern, central, and southern regions from July 3-6.

Wave heights in the upper Andaman Sea will reach 2-3 meters, exceeding 3 meters in thunderstorm areas. The lower Andaman Sea and upper Gulf of Thailand will see approximately 2-meter waves, exceeding 2 meters during thunderstorms. The DDPM has identified 55 provinces across four regions requiring monitoring for flash floods, flooding, and mudslides, with four southern provinces—Ranong, Phang Nga, Phuket, and Krabi—also under alert for strong winds and waves from July 4-6.

The department has instructed all provinces and disaster prevention centers in high-risk areas to prepare for increased rainfall and heavy downpours that may cause flooding. Personnel have been directed to closely monitor weather conditions, rainfall, and water levels, while disaster response teams equipped with machinery have been stationed in vulnerable areas. Special attention is being given to areas with accumulated rainfall exceeding 90 millimeters in 24 hours and historically flood-prone zones, with urgent drainage operations underway to minimize damage.

Mother's Premonition Before Buddhist Monk Hit By Child Driver

A Buddhist monk was fatally struck by an 11-year-old driving a pickup truck during an alms-gathering procession in Mukdahan Province, fulfilling his mother's premonition when he had reassured her "I won't die" before departing.

3h ago Khaosod

A mother recounted her foreboding before her son, a Buddhist monk, was fatally struck by an 11-year-old driving a pickup truck during an alms-gathering procession. She recalled trying to stop him with concern, but he reassured her by saying "I won't die."

At 8:30 AM on July 4, 2025, a reporter met with Nang Pantja Chaileert, 69, from Pong Daeng village in Gud Khon Kaen Subdistrict, Phu Wiang District, Khon Kaen Province. She is the mother of Phra Kham Singh Chaileert, 41, who was struck and killed by an 11-year-old boy driving a pickup truck in Mukdahan Province. Nang Pantja remained deeply grieving and unable to come to terms with her youngest son's death.

Nang Pantja explained that Phra Kham Singh ordained during Buddhist Lent 2568. Before that, her son had suffered a severe accident requiring hospitalization, from which he recovered. However, following that accident, his physical condition and certain abilities were not fully restored. Eventually, Phra Yongyut came to practice his rainy season retreat at a temple in the village. Phra Kham Singh would often visit to speak with Phra Yongyut. When Phra Yongyut requested permission and consented to allow the young man to ordain, Nang Pantja felt great concern, given his previous accident and incomplete physical recovery. But Phra Yongyut assured her he would provide care himself and told her not to worry. Her son also expressed his desire to ordain, so she gave her permission.

"After his ordination, Phra Kham Singh and Phra Yongyut would often go on alms-gathering processions to various places and returned to the temple each time. Before the latest trip, Phra Kham Singh came home and said he would go on an alms procession first, then return to observe the rainy season retreat at the village temple as usual. Out of concern, I told him, 'Don't go, my son.' Phra Kham Singh replied, 'I won't die.' After that, he said nothing more and departed with the alms-gathering procession to Mukdahan Province."

Nang Pantja recounted that after learning of the accident, she was severely shocked, unable to function, her body weakened and exhausted. She urged her husband to call Phra Yongyut, but no one answered because Phra Yongyut was also injured in the incident. Later, a nephew who had accompanied the procession and was among the first to help reported that Phra Kham Singh was covered in blood. When they lifted his body, he gasped three times before becoming silent at the accident scene.

"I believe my son may have passed away right at the accident site. The night after the incident, the temple's dogs barked throughout the night. I believe Phra Kham Singh may have returned to the temple, choosing not to disturb his parents at home, since I had sent him off to a good rebirth and to the place he desired."

South Korea Football Association Denies Rumors, Seeks New Coach

South Korea's football association denied rumors while moving forward with appointing a new head coach following the team's disappointing elimination from 2026 World Cup qualifying. The KFA apologized to fans and pledged to review its failu

3h ago Khaosod

The Korea Football Association (KFA) has released a clarification statement denying various rumors while proceeding with consultations on appointing a new head coach and electing a new association president.

South Korea's national team delivered disappointing results after being eliminated from 2026 World Cup qualifying in the group stage, finishing third in Group A and failing to secure one of the best third-place spots.

The elimination sparked backlash against the KFA and coach Hong Myung-bo, who led the team in the World Cup qualifiers, with particular criticism over the lack of transparency in his appointment.

The KFA has now issued a clarification statement denying the rumors while proceeding with discussions on appointing a new head coach and electing a new association president.

The statement read: "To all football fans who have continually cared for and loved South Korean football, we sincerely apologize for disappointing you with the 2026 World Cup results in North America, which fell short of expectations. The KFA will take this tournament failure as a lesson, carefully review and reflect on ourselves to prepare a better future for Korean football. We will humbly listen to all criticism and commit to building a better Korean football. Furthermore, we wish to clarify that the various rumors and speculative reports circulating based on unconfirmed information in recent times are entirely untrue. We again apologize to all football fans who genuinely care about Korean football for any concerns and disappointment caused. We promise that the KFA will continue to uphold the dignity and integrity of football. Regarding the new head coach appointment and association president election that have drawn much attention, we provide the following clarification.

New Head Coach Appointment: The National Team Empowerment Committee held a meeting today (July 3) and agreed to consider various approaches to appointing a new head coach. The committee will prioritize maintaining the stability of the national team to ensure continuous preparation for the AFC Asian Cup, with follow-up meetings to ensure the national team's competition schedule for the latter half of the year, including FIFA A-Match friendlies, proceeds without disruption.

Association President Election: According to the KFA regulations, if the president position becomes vacant, an election must be held within 60 days. The election system must comply with KFA regulations and not conflict with FIFA regulations as the parent organization, as well as regulations from the Korean Olympic Committee and Sports Organization. Therefore, the association is currently carefully considering this matter in multiple dimensions to comply with all relevant organizations' regulations."

Below the Tides Plants Mangroves With Youth and Community

Below the Tides has launched Season 4 of its mangrove restoration project in Samut Songkhram, bringing together students and volunteers to plant trees and protect coastal ecosystems alongside local communities.

3h ago Khaosod

Below the Tides is partnering with local communities and young people to advance environmental protection through sustainable mangrove planting as part of the Mangroves Protect the Land Season 4 project at the Mangrove Forest School in Samut Songkhram province. Founded by environmental activists and siblings Arinchaya and Arisa Thongtaeng, Below the Tides continues driving change on the ground.

Most recently, the project returned to the Mangrove Forest School for Season 4 activities, bringing together student groups from local schools and working professionals as volunteers to plant mangroves and restore coastal ecosystems. Despite intense heat, volunteers remained committed to the cause.

This year's event marks the fourth consecutive year of Below the Tides' conservation work. The effort was graced by Phu Yai Daeng (Wisut Navamsiri), a former village headman and key figure in transforming eroded coastal land into the Mangrove Forest School. He also pioneered fish sauce production known locally as "mangrove rescue fish sauce." Community leaders welcomed the volunteers and updated them on environmental conditions.

Phu Yai Daeng expressed gratitude for the program's consistency, noting: "Though mangrove seedling survival rates may not reach one hundred percent, what truly matters is the 'heart' and 'dedication' of everyone returning year after year. This is the community's genuine driving force."

Mangrove forests represent nature's strongest yet most fragile defenses. Restoring fishing areas and coastlines enhances carbon sequestration, protects communities from erosion, and nurtures aquatic biodiversity. For Below the Tides, this annual event transcends tree planting—it creates lasting bonds between people and land, inspiring future generations to protect the environment.

Below the Tides thanks all students, working professionals, and community members who participated this season. The project continues advancing toward a greener, more sustainable future—one tree, one step at a time.
