Pantawan Wins Junior Girls Title in Chang Thailand Golf Qualifier
Pantawan Palii won the Junior Girls division at the Chang Thailand Golf Qualifier round 5 in Chiang Mai with a score of 2-under par 142, advancing toward international championship opportunities and potential professional golf pathways.
Pantawan Palii captured the Junior Girls championship with a two-day score of 2-under par 142 at the Chang Thailand Junior Golf Circuit 2026 qualifying round 5, held at Alpine Golf Resort in Chiang Mai. The tournament, now in its 12th year, is recognized by the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) and the Junior Golf Scoreboard (JGS), making it Thailand's only junior golf competition officially endorsed by the Department of Physical Education. Over 100 junior golfers aged 8–22 competed across three age categories in stroke play format on professional-standard courses.
Qualifiers advance to the International Championship round, where they compete for the Dream Prize and opportunity to train with elite coaches including Dr. Rick Sessinghaus, who developed PGA Tour pro Collin Morikawa (world ranking 6, two major championships). Top performers may enter the ThaiBev ThaiTalent program, a pathway to professional golf. The championship receives backing from government and private partners including the Department of Physical Education, CCK Group, Udomphanic Corporation, GolfMate Thailand, Prow Group, and Golf Performance Solution, as they work to elevate Thai golf to the world stage.
