Actress Stranded Six Hours at Bangkok Airport Over Missing Luggage

Actress Sananthachat had a frustrating experience returning from Osaka, Japan on September 26, 2569, when her luggage failed to appear on the baggage carousel at Suvarnabhumi Airport despite the flight landing on time at 21:30. After passing through immigration normally, she waited in vain for her baggage, which never arrived—the airport staff eventually explained that flooding had caused a shortage of baggage handlers and provided only a call center number for follow-up.

Sananthachat posted an account of her experience stating she remained at the airport for nearly six hours until around 03:30 without receiving her bags. During the wait, she consumed snacks brought back from Osaka, the free water dispensers ran dry leaving passengers thirsty, and there appeared to be no food or beverage vendors in the baggage claim area. After waiting roughly an hour for a taxi with no success, she arranged a ride through AOT and was told the queue would take 2–3 hours, or she could take an expensive Benz van immediately. She agreed to the premium option to get home, paying nearly 3,000 baht for the ride.

About 24 hours later, Sananthachat confirmed she had recovered her luggage and shared step-by-step instructions for other passengers in similar situations: bring a passport and boarding pass, visit the Thai Airways baggage service counter on the second floor, complete the required paperwork for authorization, proceed to gate 4 (authorized passengers only), collect luggage from row 5, file a damage or loss claim at row 7 if needed, and then head home safely.
