Woman Wakes to Find Boyfriend Dead After Condo Fall
A 21-year-old man fell to his death from a seventh-floor Bangkok condominium on September 28, with his girlfriend discovering his body after waking; he had a history of depression and previous suicide attempts.
At 5:51 a.m. on September 28, 2025, Huamark Police Station received a report of a man who had fallen to his death from a condominium in Bang Kapi district, Bangkok. Officers including Police Major Prasop Iempinitj and his team, along with forensic staff, medical examiners from Police Hospital, and volunteers from the Ruamkratanyoo Foundation, rushed to the scene at the eight-story building.
The victim, identified by the alias "A," was 21 years old. His body was found on the ground in front of the building with severe injuries including a fractured skull and broken limbs. He was wearing a black short-sleeved shirt and black denim shorts. No identification documents were found on him.
Investigators determined the victim had been staying in a seventh-floor room. Upon inspection of the room, no signs of struggle or forced entry were discovered. A large quantity of sedative medication and a chair near the window were found inside.
According to a statement from the victim's 21-year-old girlfriend, identified by the alias "B," they lived together. She explained that the victim had suffered from depression and mental health issues for seven to eight years, receiving ongoing treatment at a hospital and taking daily medication. He was withdrawn and quiet, and had previously attempted suicide approximately twice. Around 12:24 a.m., she was still taking photos with him before falling asleep. She woke to discover he had fallen from the building.
The family did not initially contest the cause of death. The body was transferred to the Police Hospital Institute of Forensic Medicine for a detailed autopsy.
