Delivery Rider Falls From 10th Floor Condo After Climbing Window

At 1:15 a.m. on September 28, Bangyai Police Station in Nonthaburi, along with rescue personnel from a charitable foundation and Bang Yai Hospital, responded to a report of a man falling from a high-rise condominium. A 22-year-old delivery rider, Narukkritsa, was found unconscious without a pulse in the rain in front of the 10-story building. Rescue teams attempted cardiopulmonary resuscitation for more than 30 minutes but were unsuccessful, and the man was pronounced dead. Security camera footage recorded the sequence of events showing the victim pacing outside his own 10th-floor room before deciding to climb through the sliding glass window in front of the lift to access his unit from an adjacent balcony, after which he fell.

His girlfriend, identified only as B, said the victim was a delivery rider who had been asleep in her room and was unaware of what happened. She woke startled upon hearing the ambulance siren and looked out to the balcony, where she saw the ambulance and a person on the ground, but at first did not realize it was him. She added that her boyfriend had attempted to climb in this way before when he forgot his key or when she did not wake to his knocking, though it was not frequent. She firmly stated she did not hear him knocking on the door this time.

Police stated that based on preliminary investigation of the security footage and witness statements, the victim likely decided to climb out of the building's window to reach the rear balcony of his room after knocking on the door without waking his girlfriend. He apparently lost his grip and fell from the 10th floor, resulting in his death. Police will conduct further questioning of the girlfriend and preserve the security camera footage as evidence. The body was transferred by charitable foundation personnel to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for an autopsy.
