A food delivery rider became stranded around 12:45 a.m. after taking a late-night order into a residential building. The customer did not answer the phone, and the rider found the exit door locked. Instead of seeking another way out, the rider activated the building's fire alarm, prompting a full evacuation. TikTok user @EingEoi posted footage of the panicked residents fleeing down the stairs. CCTV later confirmed the rider had pulled the alarm. No fire or injuries were reported, and the incident sparked widespread online discussion. One commenter who evacuated said they encountered the rider on the second floor pressing the alarm button again. Many netizens also questioned why the customer did not answer the phone, with some speculating the customer may have quietly joined the evacuation.
