Krung Thai Bank Closes 9 Province Branches Due to Flooding

As of September 28, 2026, Krung Thai Bank announced temporary branch closures in flood-affected areas across nine provinces to mitigate the impact of severe flooding in Bangkok, its surroundings, central Thailand, and the eastern region. The bank aims to ease the difficulties faced by customers traveling to branches during the crisis.
Branches temporarily closed in Bangkok include Chokechai 4 Soi 22, The Ninth Rama 9, The Patio Lad Krabang, The Mall Bangkapi, Huai Khwang Market, Keha Rom Klao Road, Nuwiminthon Road, Phetchburi Tad Mai Road, Asoke-Din Daeng Road, Thonglor, Bangchak, Big C Sukaphiban 3, Big C Suwinthawongse, Prachauthit, Pak Khlong Talad, Rama 9 Soi 13, Phahonyothin 62/1, Pattanakarn 17, Pattanakarn 65, Fashion Island, Minburi, Maxvalue Nuwiminthon, Ladprao 102, Ladprao 33, Lotus Bangkapi, Lotus Ladprao 101, Srinakharintr, Saphan Kasat Suk, Sammakarn Place Ramkhamhaeng 110, Singh Complex, Nong Chok, Hua Tak Lad Krabang, Huamark Town Center, On Nut, Udomsuk, Exen Tower Asoke Intersection, Ekkamai, and AIA Capital Center. Service points at Mabunkhrop Center and Head Office Building 2 on Sukhumvit Soi 2 are also closed.
Other affected provinces include Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, Samut Prakan, Nakhon Nayok, Chachoengsao, Rayong, Chanthaburi, and Sa Kaeo. Branches within government offices across Bangkok, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, and Samut Prakan will close on September 28-29 following a special public holiday announcement. Currency exchange counters at Riverside, Wat Trimit, Thonglor branch, Don Mueang Airport terminals, and main office locations are also closed.
