On September 27, Nene, or Rattigarn Amloy, returned to Phuket after winning the world-stage championship at America's Got Talent 2026, making Thailand proud. She traveled back from the United States via Hong Kong on Cathay Pacific flight CX771, arriving at Phuket International Airport at 10:50 a.m., where Phuket Governor Chotinarin Kerdsom and family members waited to greet her.
Nene's 89-year-old grandmother, Kaew Poolkerd, traveled from Chachoengsao District in Nakhon Si Thammarat to welcome her granddaughter. The grandmother shared her joy, saying she had prayed for Nene to win first place during their last meeting when she was unwell. She revealed that Nene, whose childhood nickname "Praew" was given by her grandmother at two months old, holds a special place in her heart, and the family plans to hold a merit-making ceremony to give thanks and fulfill a vow.
On the evening of September 27, Phuket province organized a warm welcome celebration at Limelight Phuket shopping center starting at 4:00 p.m., where Nene performed music for the public. The event included an electric vehicle parade through the old city area, ending at Charter Bank intersection, allowing residents and fans to celebrate Nene's global achievement. Governor Chotinarin Kerdsom stated that the province welcomed Nene warmly and gave citizens the opportunity to show support for Thailand's representative on the world stage.
