Severe flooding continues to affect the Thailand Sports Authority facility in the Ramkhamhaeng area. Athletes and coaches who traveled to the 20th Asian Games in Nagoya left their vehicles parked at sports association grounds, where they have been submerged up to the roofline. Among those affected is Coach Mak Chatchawal Khaolaao, the national taekwondo team trainer, whose two vehicles—a BMW 320D and a Mazda 2—parked in front of the Taekwondo Association of Thailand building have been completely flooded. Taekwondo athletes and staff members stranded within the complex have improvised solutions to cope with the crisis, converting an inflatable swimming pool into a makeshift boat and paddling across to Rajamangala Stadium, which sits on higher ground. The stadium has become a refuge where multiple vehicles, including the taekwondo association president's official car, have been relocated to protect them from the rising floodwaters.
