Anti-Corruption Agency Teams With Workpoint on Entertainment Campaign
Thailand's anti-corruption agency partners with Workpoint TV to air entertainment shows featuring folk singers and comedy sketches that promote honesty through humor across multiple platforms.
The National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC), with support from the NACC Foundation, is advancing anti-corruption culture across Thai society by partnering with Workpoint Channel 23 to produce entertaining content laced with anti-corruption messages accessible to all demographics through humor and fun.
The first highlight is a special episode of "Khun Phra Chuay" titled "Folk Songs Build an Honest Society," featuring a folk-song competition between two generations: veteran singers Nai Yong, Nai Nong, and Nai Phuang versus young artists Form Cholpipat Chuang, Leo Athip, and Gaem Supisara. The performers debate concepts around keywords "corruption" and "bribery" through thought-provoking questions such as "Does corruption truly benefit the Thai nation?" and "Does bribery lead to national prosperity?"—blending laughter with reflection.
Another highlight is a special 10-episode run of the popular sitcom "Hok Chak Krap Charya" titled "Hok Chak, No Corruption, Sir." The character Teacher Pensri explores hidden schemes in everyday settings—restaurants, classrooms, and hair salons—covering bribery, anti-SLAPP law, and conflict of interest. Each episode is packed with humor and unique content. Both shows encourage Thais to reject corruption in daily life and invite public participation through the NACC's 24-hour hotline 1205 for reporting suspicious activity. The programs air on Workpoint TV Channel 23, YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok.
