Prime Minister Anutin Chanvirakul dismissed rumors that his Bhumjaithai Party was spreading allegations to block the father of MP Suchada Sang Thaenthap from becoming a minister. He reiterated that everyone must follow the law and said the claims about the MP's husband being tied to a scam network are being processed legally. Anutin gave encouragement to all party members while laughing off the speculation about a ministerial seat.
At a press briefing on October 5, 2026, Anutin Chanvirakul, serving as Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and as leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, addressed allegations raised by opposition MP Rangsiman Rome that the husband of Bhumjaithai MP Suchada Sang Thaenthap might be linked to a scam network. Anutin said the issue is following legal processes and that all party members must comply with the law. When asked whether Suchada had clarified the matter with him, he replied that legal oversight already applies and everyone must follow the law, adding that any wrongdoing would be answered in court. He also gave encouragement to all party members and, when questioned about rumors that the party was trying to block a ministerial seat for Suchada's father, responded with a laugh and asked, "What seat?" without confirming or denying the claim.
