Man Rams Ex-Girlfriend on Motorcycle, Kills Her and New Boyfriend
A 23-year-old driver rammed his pickup truck into a motorcycle in Bangkok, killing his ex-girlfriend and her new companion after months of harassment following their breakup. Drugs were found scattered at the crash scene in the Wong Sawang
At around 1:00 a.m. on September 3, 2569, Sergeant Peeraphat Samrit Dingam, an investigator at Prachachuen Police Station, received a report of a pickup truck colliding with a motorcycle near Soi Bangkok-Nonthaburi 39 in Wong Sawang subdistrict, Bang Sue district, Bangkok. Officers and rescue teams including paramedics from the Erawan Emergency Center and Po Teck Tung Foundation volunteers rushed to a U-turn on Bangkok-Nonthaburi Road near the BTS Pink Line extension.
At the scene, they found a white Nonthaburi-registered pickup truck with severe front-end damage next to a concrete barrier in the middle of the road. The bodies of two victims lay nearby: a 24-year-old woman named Narisara (surname withheld), who had suffered catastrophic injuries with two severed limbs and severe lacerations; and a 45-year-old man named Jetpol (surname withheld), who had severe abrasions, fractures, and broken limbs. Both were pronounced dead and transported to Pramongkutklao Hospital for autopsy.
A third victim, 23-year-old Songpol (surname withheld), the pickup driver, survived with serious injuries. Emergency responders performed approximately 20 minutes of CPR before transporting him to Kasemrad Prachachuen Hospital, where he was kept under police custody pending charges.
About three meters away, police found a badly damaged Honda motorcycle registered in Bangkok. Methamphetamine pills and crystal methamphetamine were scattered around the scene and seized as evidence.
According to the female victim's family, Songpol and the deceased woman had dated for one year before breaking up two months earlier. She left him because of his abusive behavior. After the breakup, he repeatedly stalked and threatened to harm her. When he saw her picking up a new boyfriend on a motorcycle near Wat Liab Rat Bamrung temple, he deliberately drove his pickup truck at them at high speed, resulting in the fatal collision.
Investigators are currently reviewing CCTV footage and waiting for Songpol's condition to improve before conducting a full interrogation and formal charges.
