BEST Global and Weibo have signed a strategic trade cooperation agreement to support Chinese brands and entrepreneurs in expanding business into foreign markets, combining logistics, supply chain, cross-border transportation, and international brand communication capabilities at BEST Thailand in Bangkok.

The collaboration addresses the needs of Chinese businesses seeking market expansion, particularly in Southeast Asia. Beyond building brand awareness, companies require efficient logistics and supply chain systems to handle storage, distribution, and final delivery to consumers.

The partnership reflects the growing economic and trade relationship between Thailand and China. According to Commerce Ministry data, China has been Thailand's number one trading partner for 13 consecutive years, with Thailand-China trade reaching $147.34 billion in 2025, a 21.13% increase compared to the previous year.

"Expanding business abroad today is not just about selling products in new markets, but also building brands, understanding consumers in each country, and having strong operational systems to support long-term growth," a Weibo representative said.

"The partnership with BEST Global will connect two key elements of overseas business expansion: brand communication and marketing, combined with supply chain and fulfillment capabilities, enabling Chinese entrepreneurs to grow sustainably and efficiently in foreign markets," the representative added.

A key initiative under this partnership is organizing "Overseas Business Study Tours" for Chinese brands, cross-border e-commerce entrepreneurs, and industry experts to gain firsthand experience of foreign markets, particularly in Southeast Asia.

Weibo and BEST Global plan to conduct three to five study tours annually, covering key Southeast Asian markets and other international markets. The companies will also jointly develop projects in overseas branding, cultural exchange, content production, and comprehensive logistics services.

George Chou, Chief Investment & Strategy Officer and Thailand CEO of BEST Group, said: "BEST Global is committed to continuously developing international logistics and supply chain capabilities to support businesses expanding cross-border operations. This partnership with Weibo will enable us to connect logistics expertise with comprehensive brand and marketing resources. We want to help Chinese brands enter foreign markets confidently while building strong and sustainable local operational systems."

For business services, BEST Global will leverage its cross-border logistics, overseas warehousing, local delivery, inventory distribution, and SaaS platform capabilities to develop supply chain solutions tailored to Chinese brands and cross-border e-commerce entrepreneurs.

Both companies will explore connecting their customer bases and business networks to create new opportunities in brand communication, market linkage, logistics, and supply chain services.

The partnership has potential to support Chinese entrepreneurs expanding into Thailand, a key ASEAN market, particularly through integrated business solutions and market expertise.
