Chaiyanak Chidchob, Minister of Digital Economy and Society, said he is not worried and ready to respond to the opposition's no-confidence debate. He dismissed claims that he is an ungrateful child, questioning whether the allegations are based on facts or merely democratic entertainment rhetoric, and criticized the proposed five‑day debate period as excessive, asking if there really are that many topics to discuss. Speaking at the King Rama IX Memorial Park on October 13, 2026, he called the interpellation a new experience, said everyone is fully prepared, and expressed confidence in his ability to answer the charges. When asked about the opposition's accusation that he has benefited his associates and family, he asked for concrete examples, stating he has not done such things and is performing his duties fully. He added that if they accuse him of the Khao Krajang land matter, the information is old, the reasons are clear, and the accused are not only him and his allies but also the citizens of Buriram province who hold land deeds and are involved in a legal process to verify the facts. Regarding the opposition's claim of possessing evidence and receipts, such as the Senate caucus issue, he said they must present it and he will be ready to clarify. On preparations, he said they are readying their performance records and will back them with criteria and reasons; he does not believe the allegations about his actions are true and wonders where the evidence would come from, adding he is not concerned. He expressed confidence that he can answer all points regarding his own responsibilities, while noting that party members and the cabinet must examine the specific allegations against them, but he is confident in their ability to fulfill their duties. As secretary-general of the Bhumjaithai Party, he said they have already discussed the matter with party members before the announcement, recognizing it as a tool the opposition can use, and everyone must perform their duties fully from the outset. Finally, when asked whether the opposition's request for five days of debate is excessive, he remarked that it seems like a lot of time for the number of topics, questioned whether there are truly many new and genuine issues, or if it is merely political theater, and said he would wait and see.
