Chulabhorn Royal Pharma Factory Hosts FAPA 2026 Delegation
Chulabhorn Royal Pharma Factory hosted FAPA delegates on Nov 4, highlighting Thailand's progress
The Chulabhorn Royal Academy's Pharmaceutical Factory, guided by the vision of Princess Chulabhorn, aims to strengthen Thailand's drug security, reduce reliance on imports, and expand public access to quality medicines. On November 4, 2026, the factory hosted pharmacists from the Federation of Asian Pharmaceutical Associations (FAPA) during the 31st FAPA Congress held in Thailand from November 3–7. The visit highlighted Thailand's progress in pharmaceutical research, industrial translation, and targeted cancer drug production. FAPA, founded in 1964, now comprises professional pharmacy organizations from 24 countries and plays a key role in linking pharmacists, academics, researchers, and the pharmaceutical industry to raise professional standards, promote science and technology, and develop drug systems that effectively serve public health. The congress serves as a vital platform for international collaboration to drive sustainable growth in Asia's pharmaceutical sector.
