Central Laboratory Thailand Limited (CLT) has signed a memorandum of understanding with AES Energy Limited (AES) and Yunfeng Financial Group Limited to jointly develop, promote, and assess the feasibility of rooftop solar power projects and related energy and business initiatives. The partnership seeks to enhance energy efficiency, reduce costs, and promote renewable and clean energy in practical ways.
The signing ceremony was held at CLT's offices, with Dr. Chakarit Theeperthratanawet, Managing Director of CLT; Dr. Sakul Kierttijiravorawirut, Chief Executive Officer of AES Energy Limited; and Ms. Vivien Wong, Senior Managing Director of Yunfeng Financial Group Limited signing on behalf of their respective organizations. The three parties will collaborate on studying and assessing solar rooftop project feasibility, including surveying energy needs, analyzing electricity usage patterns, evaluating production capacity, assessing project returns on investment, and developing appropriate and efficient energy management guidelines aligned with each organization's operations.
The three parties will also support the exchange of information, knowledge, expertise, and experience, and jointly consider other activities or projects that support the partnership's objectives to create mutual benefits and explore future business collaboration opportunities.
Dr. Chakarit Theeperthratanawet, Managing Director of CLT, stated that the collaboration marks an important starting point for integrating sustainable development principles into organizational operations systematically—from studying energy usage data and selecting appropriate technologies to managing costs and environmental impact. "We believe combining the strengths and expertise of all three parties will lead to energy management approaches that address business, social, and environmental dimensions in balance," he said.
Dr. Sakul Kierttijiravorawirut, Chief Executive Officer of AES Energy Limited, noted that energy transition requires cooperation across multiple sectors in data, technology, capital, and interconnected expertise. "This collaboration will help establish a foundation for developing efficient, cost-effective, and practical clean energy projects while serving as a model for expanding to other energy projects in the future."
