Bangkok, September 24, 2026 – Deloitte Thailand, a leading global professional services firm, has partnered with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration to announce the successful completion of a landscape improvement project at Lumpini Park, one of Bangkok's most important public spaces.
To celebrate this achievement, Deloitte installed a 10-meter-diameter Green Dot Sphere in the park's lake for one week, serving as a symbol of public space development and reinforcing Deloitte's commitment to growing alongside Thailand through ongoing support for the economy, business sector, communities, and local workforce.
A key component of the project is the restoration of walkway bridges, enabling park visitors to access facilities more easily and supporting Bangkok's 2026 development strategy and the BMA's mission to conserve and expand green areas for the thousands of residents and tourists who visit Lumpini Park annually.
Beyond bridge restoration, the project includes improvements to lighting systems, landscape design, and rest areas, creating a safer and more inviting environment for exercise, relaxation, and nature connection in the heart of Bangkok.
Chatchai Sittipundej, Governor of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, stated: "The collaboration between the BMA and Deloitte reflects our shared commitment to creating lasting benefits and improving residents' quality of life. This project will enhance accessibility, connectivity, and safety within Lumpini Park, allowing people to fully utilize its facilities while supporting diverse recreational, cultural, and community activities. It positions Bangkok as a livable city that welcomes everyone."
Dr. Methini Jongsritthawang, Managing Director of Deloitte Thailand, said: "Lumpini Park is a beloved public space that holds significant social and environmental importance for Bangkok. We are proud to partner with the BMA on a project that creates lasting value for residents, visitors, and future generations. Deloitte believes that growing alongside Thailand means supporting not just business and economics, but creating value for the communities where we live and work. We are committed to building a strong and sustainable future where all sectors thrive together."
The project's completion coincided with Deloitte's Southeast Asia Partner Conference in Bangkok, where over 400 Deloitte executives, staff, and representatives from the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration participated in a health run around Lumpini Park to celebrate the achievement and experience the upgraded spaces. The activity reflects Deloitte's collaborative approach, bringing together professionals from diverse industries and expertise to benefit the communities where they work and live.
Eugene Ho, Chief Executive Officer of Deloitte Southeast Asia, remarked: "Thailand plays a crucial role in Deloitte's long-term growth and investment strategy in Southeast Asia. Prioritizing people and communities is central to our operating philosophy. We are committed to leveraging Deloitte's talent, expertise, and capabilities to create social and environmental value for society.
