He said he has coordinated with the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation and provincial authorities on joint operational guidelines, particularly prevention measures. He has consulted with provincial governors that safety must come first, with recovery efforts proceeding in parallel. Weather forecasting is being done in collaboration with the Meteorological Department, displaying results across multiple areas to help the public understand the situation. Short-term plans will follow the existing framework. When asked about public concern over reports of heavy rainfall potentially leading to catastrophic flooding, Yotsanan stated that communication channels are already active with a unified command structure overseeing and clarifying information to prevent confusion, and that authorities are working at full capacity.
