After Jaruay went missing, Suwanna searched multiple hospitals hoping to find her sister injured in a critical condition, but had no success. She then reported her missing to the coordination center at the incident location, and authorities coordinated with hospitals to check their patient rosters, though her sister was never found.
After their mother provided a DNA sample this afternoon, the comparison results confirmed that Jaruay had died. Suwanna said she came prepared with makeup and perfume to beautify her sister's body for the funeral, as her sister loved beauty and grooming.
