DSI will summon the SEC next week after finding Bitkub and Maxbit customer funds linked to the Shuffle gambling site, while coordinating with
At a 3:30 p.m. press conference on October 29 at the Ministry of Justice on Chaeng Watthana Road, Deputy Justice Minister Piyathida Watanavarangkun updated reporters on DSI investigation case 148/2026 concerning the Shuffle online gambling platform. The platform operates as an online casino and sports betting site that accepts digital assets through foreign-registered entities, potentially violating the Computer Crime Act and possibly involving other technology-related criminal networks.
DSI has summoned several witnesses including Taiyang Sang, husband of asset proxy Suchada Sang; former Songkhla MP Siriwit Sopa of the Democrat Party; and People's Party list-MP Rangsiman Rome. Deputy Minister Piyathida emphasized that DSI operates independently with consistent standards regardless of who is involved.
Pol. Lt. Col. Khemchat Prakaihongmani, chief of DSI's Technology and Information Division, said investigators are coordinating closely with the Technology Crime Suppression Division (cyber police) and will invite SEC representatives next week to provide information on digital asset oversight. Multiple witnesses have already been questioned. Authorities are working to verify whether Thai nationals accessed the Shuffle website from within the kingdom, which would strengthen the case for jurisdiction.
