National Sports Fund Backs Eastville Pickleball Championship 2026

The National Sports Fund is supporting the Eastville Pickleball Championship 2026 while expanding grassroots basic pickleball training programs. The Thai Pickleball Association is driving forward its strategy to develop and promote community-level fitness through the Eastville Pickleball Championship 2026, which combines basic pickleball coaching for youth, general participants, and beginners. The event receives funding from the National Sports Fund and the Sports Authority of Thailand, with venue support from Central Eastville shopping mall. Over 140 young athletes, general participants, and enthusiasts took part in the event at the mall's pickleball courts.

The event was designed to promote exercise, improve public health, expand the pickleball athlete base across all ages and genders, provide equal access to the sport, and allow participants to showcase their abilities through competition. The tournament was divided into men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles categories, classified by skill level into two divisions: DUPR Level NR-3.50 and Combined DUPR not exceeding 8.00.

The Thai Pickleball Association expressed gratitude to the National Sports Fund, Central Eastville shopping mall, and all supporting organizations for their budget support, prize funding, court provision, and tournament management software. The event was well-received, and both the competition and basic pickleball training proved highly beneficial for expanding the athlete base across all ages and genders, developing pickleball skills in Thailand, promoting health, and providing proper instruction to beginners. The association pledged to continue advancing pickleball development for maximum benefit to Thai pickleball and society.
