Education Ministry Launches 'Shining Potential' Showcase to Boost Student Skills
The Ministry of Education and the Equity Education Fund launched a showcase called 'Shining Potential' to highlight student innovations from the Equity Partnership’s School Network. Eleven teams presented community‑based products now sold on Shopee, gained through collaboration between equity scholarship students, international schools, and higher education institutions. Officials said the program helps students build real‑world skills, branding experience, and income for future careers.
The Equity Education Fund’s Institute for Equity Education Research collaborated with Sea (Thailand) and the international school network to organize the award ceremony for the ‘Equity Partnership’s School Network season 7’ project, which involved 11 teams. The initiative creates educational innovation through a school network that connects equity scholarship students in schools under the Office of the Basic Education Commission with international schools and higher education institutions to develop community products for the online market via Shopee. By expanding learning from classroom to community to actual product production and sales, the program enables students to develop vocational skills, absorb branding techniques, generate income, and establish a foundation for long‑term career growth. The event was attended by representatives from government and private sectors, including Dr. Thirapa Pairojkul, advisor to the Education Minister, Sumrit Anubhak, senior assistant manager of community development, equity and social affairs at Central Group, Buddhiwan Supphatanont, corporate communications director at Sea (Thailand), and other officials from various educational bodies.
