The Eastern Economic Corridor Office (EECO) held a ceremony to present the EEC Select Best Service 2026 certification to 21 selected entrepreneurs and community enterprises from Chachoengsao, Chonburi, and Rayong provinces at Rayong Hall in Central Plaza Rayong. The event underscores success in upgrading community products and services within the EEC to meet quality and standards, building consumer confidence while expanding market opportunities and linking local value to area investment.

The activity is part of the EEC Sustainability Expo 2026. Beyond the certification ceremony, the event provides space for certified businesses to display and sell their products and offers online marketing promotion to bridge standards and market opportunities, raising awareness of quality goods and services from the EEC area to a wider consumer base.

Dr. Chula Sukmanop, Secretary-General of the Eastern Economic Corridor Policy Committee (EECO), stated that the EEC Select Best Service program is a key mechanism for driving economic, social, and environmental growth in EEC communities. It prepares entrepreneurs and people to adapt to changes from urban expansion and modern economics, elevates service and product standards, and leverages local identity and wisdom to add value and generate sustainable income.

"EEC Select Best Service is not merely a quality certification mark, but a mechanism creating opportunities for EEC entrepreneurs to develop products and services that meet modern consumer needs, build confidence, and expand into broader markets, ensuring EEC area growth delivers tangible benefits and income back to communities," Dr. Sukmanop said.

The program operates under the framework SERVICE + SMART & SMILE, reflecting values through E for Expert (skilled and knowledgeable entrepreneurs), E for Excellence (quality products and services meeting consumer lifestyle needs), and C for Certainty (building consumer confidence).

This year, 21 entrepreneurs across five business categories received certification: food and beverage, spa and wellness, hotels and accommodations, community tourism enterprises, and service products. Recipients were evaluated across five key areas: production and service factors, value creation and sustainable environmental impact, service processes and procedures, service excellence, and marketing.

The 21 certified businesses (22 products) come from three EEC provinces: six from Chachoengsao including Greenville Farm Cafe (1 star), Praditsophachana restaurant (2 stars), Jimmy Farm (1 star), Delicious Story company's coconut flower sugar chiffon product (2 stars), Pla Salid Poi Kham dried fish product (2 stars), and Hruhra's Pakong Mango identity cloth product (2 stars); 12 from Chonburi including Mekhaiskriem ice cream (1 star), Mirae Sushi (2 stars), Kusatsu Onsen Spa (2 stars), Mandarin Eastville Pattaya (1 star), Siam Bayshore Resort Pattaya (3 stars), Hotel J Pattaya (1 star), Cliff Spa (2 stars), TR Thai Foods rice porridge product (2 stars), Sunthorn Tanyatrop company's chicken brand rice product (2 stars), and others.
