Elixir launched the new Total V Firming Cream at Dusit Thani Bangkok on September 3, presenting the concept "Redefine Sagging Care" by blending scientific expertise with skincare innovation to better understand skin sagging issues. The event revealed the discovery of Ring Collagen Structure mechanics and the principle of "internal skin-lifting support," which formed the foundation for Elixir's newest product.
The launch featured interactive zones showcasing Elixir's 40+ years of Collagen Science expertise, the Total V Firming Cream area, and a Collagen Science Corner. The brand introduced COLLAGenerator, an innovation designed to revitalize and maintain the collagen lifecycle for skin health, alongside research supporting the new product and Ring Collagen concept.
A key highlight was the gathering of multidisciplinary experts led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rangsima Wanichabhakdee, head of dermatology and director of the Siriraj Laser Skin Center at Mahidol University's Faculty of Medicine. She was joined by Dr. Tomonobu Ezure from Shiseido Global Innovation Center and Mr. Eijiro Hara, Shiseido Senior Specialist Researcher, who shared insights on sagging skin solutions and Shiseido and Elixir's collagen research.
Ring Collagen Structure refers to ring-shaped collagen formations around hair follicles, each containing inward-pulling force that creates "internal skin-lifting support." This structure gradually weakens with age, contributing to loss of skin firmness and sagging. Elixir used this knowledge to develop Total V Firming Cream, combining the V Firming CP EX and COLLAGenerator technologies exclusive to Elixir. The formula targets Ring Collagen restoration to reinforce internal lifting support while caring for five main collagen types, strengthening collagen fiber bundles and addressing sagging effectively.
Beyond the product, the event emphasized skin longevity through age-defying, firm, and lifted-looking skin care across all dimensions.
