The Pollution Control Department urged residents to wear dust masks, close doors and windows, avoid outdoor activities, and monitor vulnerable groups including young children, elderly people, pregnant women, and those with respiratory or heart disease. Anyone experiencing severe smoke or odor effects should evacuate to safe areas and seek medical attention if symptoms develop. The department also advised against collecting rainwater during this period. Regional environmental and pollution control offices will continue monitoring, measuring, and assessing the situation, reporting results until conditions return to normal.
