Chanatip Leads Thailand Squad for FIFA ASEAN Cup 2026

Chanatip Songkrasin, a standout midfielder from BG Pathum United, has been recalled to the Thailand national team as a key player in the push for the FIFA ASEAN Cup 2026 title in Indonesia. On September 14, the Football Association of Thailand announced a 23-player squad managed by coach Anthony Hudson for the tournament, running from September 26 to October 5 in Indonesia. Thailand will compete in Division 1 in Group B alongside Vietnam, the Philippines, and Pakistan. The group stage will use a round-robin format, with group champions advancing to the final and second-place finishers competing in a third-place playoff against Group A runners-up. Players will report to Novotel Future Park Rangsit on September 21 at 1 p.m. and train at BG Training Centre. Thailand's matches are scheduled for September 26 against Pakistan at 4 p.m., September 29 against Vietnam at 7:30 p.m., and October 2 against the Philippines at 4 p.m., all at Sri Jalak Harupat Stadium in Bandung.
