Former MP Files Supreme Court Bid Against Election Commission

Former Phatthalung MP Niphit Indrasombat announced via Facebook that he is collaborating with all parties and thanked Rames Ratnachweng and the Democrat Party legal team for assisting Senate candidates seeking legal support. Some candidates have independently filed petitions with the Supreme Court, while others are still refining details in their submissions with the party's legal support. Indrasombat stated he intends to pursue two main cases: first, alleged misconduct by the Election Commission under Criminal Code Section 157, and second, claims that a political party unlawfully seized power and undermined democratic governance, which could lead to party dissolution. He emphasized that if evidence proves a party engaged in vote-buying or manipulation, such conduct would be deplorable regardless of who committed it, and he is willing to cooperate with all parties and colors to combat such misconduct. Indrasombat clarified that he is acting on principle rather than personal animosity, making a clear and determined effort to uphold the integrity of the nation.
