Ornamental gold (96.5% purity) was quoted at 69,950 baht per gram for sale, down 500 baht from the closing price on September 3. Gold bars were quoted at 68,950 baht per gram for purchase and 69,150 baht per gram for sale. The 96.5% ornamental gold buyback price was set at 67,568.12 baht per gram with a selling price of 69,950 baht per gram. Spot gold on the global market was trading at 4,432.00 US dollars per ounce. Analysts are watching for potential US Federal Reserve rate hikes and employment data, with some predicting support could hold around 67,000 baht per gram.
