Heavy Rain Closes Camping Area at Kaeng Krachan Park
Kaeng Krachan National Park in Phetchaburi has closed its waterside tent camping area due to heavy rainfall causing flooding near the dam reservoir. The closure remains in effect until water levels recede and conditions normalize.
Heavy rainfall continuing all day has led Kaeng Krachan National Park in Phetchaburi Province to close the tent camping area along the Kaeng Krachan dam reservoir. The park's tourism service center reported steadily increasing water accumulation caused by persistent heavy rain, which has resulted in water flooding into the camping grounds near the dam.
To prevent and reduce risks to visitor safety and property, the park has announced the closure of the waterside tent camping area effective September 28, 2569 onwards until conditions return to normal.
