Hospital Partners With CPF on Charity Food Drive
Bhumibol Adulyadej Royal Air Force Hospital and Charoen Pokphand Foods launch a charity food drive September 1-4, with proceeds funding medical equipment for the facility that serves mostly civilians.
Bhumibol Adulyadej Royal Air Force Hospital, under the Royal Thai Air Force Medical Department, is partnering with Charoen Pokphand Foods (CPF) to launch the "Every Purchase Is a Gift of Giving" campaign from September 1-4, 2025. The public is invited to support the hospital by purchasing quality food products, with all net proceeds going toward medical equipment and supplies to enhance patient care.
The event was graced by Air Chief Marshal Siam Bunnak, director of Bhumibol Adulyadej Royal Air Force Hospital, and Prasit Boondung Prasert, CPF executive chairman. Air Chief Marshal Siam noted that the hospital serves approximately 90 percent civilians and only 10 percent military families. He explained that the hospital is currently constructing new medical facilities for its 77th anniversary and needs additional funding for equipment purchases. He thanked CPF for organizing this beneficial campaign and pledged the hospital's full commitment to serving the public.
Prasit Boondung Prasert stated that the campaign aligns with CPF's corporate policy of "repaying the nation" and supporting society. He emphasized that public hospitals are vital institutions deserving support to improve public healthcare access. He noted that CPF plans to expand the campaign to major hospitals nationwide to help ease the financial burden on public healthcare institutions. The campaign runs September 1-4, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Kumleela Building, 2nd floor, Bhumibol Adulyadej Royal Air Force Hospital.
