Hundreds Celebrate General Prawit's 81st Birthday at Forest Lodge
Former Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan celebrated his 81st birthday on August 10 at a forest lodge in Southern Thailand, welcoming hundreds of military officers, politicians, and dignitaries for the occasion.
On August 10, 2026, at the Ban Pa Roi Toh Foundation for the Five-Province Forest Conservation, General Prawit Wongsuwan, former Deputy Prime Minister and adviser to the Palang Pracharath party (PPRP), welcomed close associates and dignitaries to celebrate his 81st birthday, which falls on August 11, 2026.
The celebration was warm and relaxed, with Prawit appearing cheerful and greeting visitors casually as they arrived.
From early morning, a steady flow of military officers, civil servants, and politicians came to offer their wishes, including members of the foundation's board such as General Udomdej Sitthubut, former Army Commander and former Defense Ministry spokesperson; General Nath Intharajarun, former Permanent Secretary of the Defense Ministry; and General Kittipong Keskovik, former Permanent Secretary of the Defense Ministry.
Treenuch Thiantong, head of the Palang Pracharath party, led party executives to extend best wishes to General Prawit for good health, embracing him and offering encouragement for his future work.
Also attending were Chaiyavuth Thanakamanusuron, head of the Rak Chat party; former PPRP MPs including Tippanan Sirichana, former Deputy Government Spokesman; Wattanya Bunnach, known as Madame Dior; and Chada Thai-sert, an Uthaithani MP from the Thai Pride Party.
