ICC Delivers Wheelchairs to Vulnerable Groups in Udon Thani

ICC International continues the third phase of its Royal Wheelchair Project with specialized mobility equipment, delivering wheelchairs and medical devices to children, people with disabilities, the elderly, and vulnerable groups across four main districts in Udon Thani province: Mueang, Ban Phue, Ban Dung, and Si That. The initiative involves continuous care and support as part of ICC's commitment to creating social value. The project partners with the Rajanatarin Child Development Institute in Chiang Mai, the Department of Mental Health, the Mae Sai Rotary Club, and the Rajanatarin Child Development Foundation under Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn's royal patronage.
The ceremony was presided over by Dr. Jumpat Promsidar, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Mental Health, and Nattapong Khamwongpin, Deputy Governor of Udon Thani, at Udon Thani Rajabhat University. Beyond distributing wheelchairs, RICD Wheelchair Project volunteers assessed and customized each wheelchair to suit individual recipients' physical conditions and needs, ensuring maximum benefit and usability. This phase delivered 319 wheelchairs and 196 other medical items valued at over 4.3 million baht.
ICC also provided care products including Family Care Moisture Shower Cream with Collagen and Enfant Baby Powder, as well as dolls donated by H&B Intertex to program participants. The team conducted follow-up visits, including checking on a recipient named Plaifah in Sarangkhom district, whose wheelchair was reassessed and adjusted for daily use. This ensures recipients can use the wheelchairs effectively and improve their quality of life with confidence.
