The case emerged after a Facebook page called "I Want Fame Right Now Part 7" posted a video with a message asking: "Anyone recognize these kids? My brother was driving home from an outing when these people attacked him. Does anyone know where they live? Please help."
On September 19, 2025, Nipont, known as Bank, aged 31, the injured man, filed a report with officers at Lahan Sai Police Station in Buriram Province. He explained that he and two friends were sitting and drinking at a restaurant in Lahan Sai District. Less than five minutes after sitting down, someone called him to join another table where approximately seven to eight teenagers were seated.
They asked him, "Where are you from? Why do you have such a cocky face?" After sitting for about two minutes, he requested to return to his original table. The group continued to throw objects at his table. Feeling unsafe, he paid his bill to leave, but the teenagers sent someone to tell him he could not leave or there would be consequences.
He acknowledged he made some mistakes but felt he had to leave the restaurant for his safety. When he walked to his car, the group confronted him again. He decided to drive away, but seven to eight teenagers on motorcycles followed him, blocked his path, and forced him to stop. At first he tried not to stop, but they rammed his car. When he stopped and lowered his window, they punched him twice before he decided to drive away, fearing the group might be armed.
According to local sources in Lahan Sai District, this gang regularly assaults unfamiliar people, typically targeting men who appear to come from better backgrounds than themselves. They incite trouble and attack to satisfy themselves, whether the other person fights back or not.
