Funeral services will be held at Wat Sakorn Suen Prachasarn in Bangkok from October 7‑10, 2026.
Jetsada Tech Museum announced the death of Boonlap Lertlap, its astrology and feng shui consultant, at age 98 on October 7, 2026. Boonlap, born June 19, 1928, had served as an advisor to the museum and conducted the consecration ceremonies for both the original and the new Jetsada Tech Museum. He earned renown for predicting that Colonel Narong Kittikajorn would face adversity—a prophecy that seemed fulfilled when Narong, son of Field Marshal Thanom Kittikajorn and son‑in‑law of Field Marshal Praphas Charusathien, fled the country after the October 14, 1973 events. Dr. Phakhiphum Deshakulrit, an executive committee member, said he had been Boonlap’s student since completing his master’s degree and continued to revere him as a teacher. The museum said his teachings, kindness, and blessings would remain a source of inspiration as it carries on its mission. Funeral rites will be held at Sala 5, Wat Sakorn Suen Prachasarn, Ladprao District, Bangkok: evening chanting at 18:00 on October 7‑9, and the cremation ceremony at 15:00 on October 10, 2026.
