King and Queen Open Phra Pradaeng Provincial Court Building
The King and Queen officially opened the new Phra Pradaeng Provincial Court Building in Samut Prakan on July 14, presiding over cornerstone-laying ceremonies and granting an audience to judicial officials.
On July 14, 2025, at 4:13 p.m., His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen presided over the cornerstone-laying ceremony and opening of the Phra Pradaeng Provincial Court Building at 662 Moo 9, Samrong Tai Subdistrict, Phra Pradaeng District, Samut Prakan Province. The ceremony was attended by Supimit Chinthasri, Governor of Samut Prakan; Chaiphraya Serm-suwanna, Director of Provincial Court Region 1; and other senior judicial and military officials.
During the ceremony, His Majesty lit incense and candles in veneration of Buddha images and granted an audience to Khidngam Kongtrakul Lee, the presiding judge of Phra Pradaeng Provincial Court, to receive commemorative documents. After the formal proceedings, His Majesty pressed an electrical button to unveil the building plaque, then participated in the cornerstone-laying ritual by anointing and placing the golden, silver, and brass plaques along with the cornerstone into the foundation. His Majesty subsequently offered requisites to the clergy, distributed commemorative medals, and signed the guest book alongside Her Majesty.
After completing all ceremonial duties and taking photographs with senior judicial officials and court staff, Their Majesties departed from the Phra Pradaeng Provincial Court Building and returned to Amphorn Palace at Dusit Royal Palace.
