Krungthai Bank Offers Zero-Interest Home Loans for 5 Years
Krungthai Bank is offering zero-interest home loans for five years on twin houses priced from 2.99 million baht, with approvals accepted through December 2025.
Krungthai Bank and AP Thailand Public Company Limited unveiled a special campaign on September 4, 2025, called "Smooth Payment 0% for 5 Years" to help customers purchase twin houses. The offer provides zero percent annual interest for the first 5 years for customers whose loans are approved and mortgaged with the bank between August 17 and December 30, 2025, easing repayment burden and improving housing accessibility.
The initiative reflects Krungthai Bank's commitment to supporting Thai citizens in accessing affordable housing through tailored credit products. AP's quality twin houses span 80 locations across Bangkok and its suburbs, offered under five brands: Baan Klang Muang THE EDITION, Baan Klang Muang, Grande Pleno, Pleno, and Pleno Town, with prices starting from 2.99 million baht.
The loan terms offer zero percent annual interest for the first 5 years, then MLR minus 0.825 percent thereafter (or 0.30 percent in year one if no life insurance is purchased). Based on a calculation of 1 million baht borrowed over 20 years with monthly installments of 7,200 baht, the effective interest rate over the contract is 1.99-2.05 percent annually.
