Lawyer An staged a ghost-masked protest at Thailand's Election Commission office on September 14, using symbolic rituals to warn seven commissioners against what he views as corrupt rulings affecting 229 people.
At 10 a.m. on September 14, 2025, lawyer Pattrapong Suphaksa, known as Lawyer An from Buriram, arrived at the Election Commission office with about 10 people dressed in costumes and ghost masks to stage symbolic demonstrations. He announced two planned protest processions: a ghost-doctor procession in the morning and a Thai-style courthouse procession in the afternoon. An sarcastically said he understood the Commission intended to "release" all 229 people today, so he brought Khmer ritual objects to meet with the current Election Commission and warned the seven Commissioners they would face serious supernatural consequences.
An stated his public remarks and use of a megaphone were intended to inform all seven Commissioners about what they should and should not do. He asserted that no matter what happens, citizens will lose, because he views the justice system, the Senate selection process, and the Election Commissioners' rulings as fundamentally twisted. He claimed that regardless of the outcome, the public loses in every scenario.

He ended the morning session with a challenge: "You really plan to release all 229 people? Drop all the cases. I dare you to use your mystical powers to explain that to the public," before announcing the afternoon protest procession would proceed as scheduled.
