Residents reported finding the skeleton of a man near an abandoned condominium close to Mae Ramphueng Beach, with police investigating a possible homicide. The remains were discovered about 200 metres from Mae Ramphueng Beach Road in Moo 1, Phe subdistrict, Mueang Rayong district, on Tuesday evening.
The victim was estimated to be approximately 170 centimetres tall and was wearing jeans and grey, thick-waisted sports-brand underwear. A brick wall section roughly one metre wide and about five inches thick lay across the body.
Police estimate the man has been dead for around 30 days. No identification documents or other evidence were recovered at the scene.
Investigators are examining whether two or more suspects may have transported the man to the location, killed him, and concealed his body beneath the brickwork. The abandoned building receives minimal foot traffic, leaving few immediate investigative leads. The victim's identity and precise cause of death remain unconfirmed, with forensic officers continuing their investigation.
