Male Skeleton Found Under Abandoned Condo in Rayong
A male skeleton was discovered beneath an abandoned condominium in Rayong's Phe District, with police estimating the death occurred about 30 days ago and suspecting foul play by multiple perpetrators.
On September 16, Anusotn Sriepna, an investigator from Phe Police Station in Muang District, Rayong Province, received a report from residents about a human skeleton discovered beneath an abandoned condominium in Moo 1, Phe Subdistrict. Police responded with forensic officers and evidence technicians to investigate. The scene was located approximately 200 meters from Mae Rampung Beach Road, beneath the vacant building. The skeleton belonged to a male approximately 170 centimeters tall, wearing blue jeans and thick-edged gray sports underwear. A brick wall section measuring approximately one meter wide and five inches thick covered the remains. Authorities estimate the victim died around 30 days ago.
Investigators have yet to identify the victim or determine their origin. No personal belongings were found at the scene. Police suspect at least two perpetrators brought the victim to the location and killed him using torture methods before covering the body with the brick wall and fleeing. The abandoned condominium's isolation, combined with the body's decomposition over an extended period, has hindered efforts to identify suspects. Local residents believe the condo is haunted, as multiple deaths have reportedly occurred at the building previously.
